Re: This or That
It's 4th and 1. 1:37 left on the clock. You're down by 1, but it's a long field goal.
Do you kick it or go for it on 4th?

Re: This or That
Really Cody??
I thought baseball was more your thing. Leave the football to the pros. ;-]
And.
I actually sort of like this topic even though no one has posted.
I'm in the middle of a bunch of big this-or-that things.
Cyber-school vs Public School
Graduate High School a year early vs. Complete high school and graduate from college a year early instead, using the early college program
School team Soccer vs. Rec soccer (less competitive) vs. no soccer at all.
Dont gasp at that one. Soccer doesn't have the same meaning to me anymore. Plus, I'm going to have no working body parts if this keeps up.
So yeah. Works for me. xD

If we have a good kicker, kick it, otherwise run for it like hell. Use a timeout if you have one left and give a motivational speech first.

Re: This or That
Go for it. Hand it off to Ricky Williams and make him dash diagonally to the right, then he should easily be able to dive into the 1st down. Then do hail mary and get the touch down.
Cyber-school because it's cyber.
Complete high school and graduate from college a year early.
Either quit soccer or quit getting injured. Either way.

Go for it, and hope your rushers are supermen, and wish that the defensive line won't be able to stop you (do a reverse/trick play, maybe a qb sneak, or a pass). Course, if you have an awesome kicker, you could attempt it.....but unless it's inside the 56 yard line, no way. Call audibles in order to have a no huddle.
In a basketball championship game, there's 35 seconds left in the 4th qtr. You are out of timeouts. The score is (Them)39-(You)37. You steal the ball, and head down the court for a fast break. However, the defense is coming up fast. Do you...
A.) Get the easy layup in order to tie it( which could result in making the other team foul you, resulting in 2 foul shots...and hope that you can rebound the second one, then get another shot to win.)
B.) Shoot for a 3 to win it and hope it either goes in or someone rebounds it for you.
C.) Hit it off an opposing player (out of bounds), so that the clock stops and you can call a play.
D.) Let the clock run down, then make a 3-pointer/jump shot (this could result in the other team stealing it for a layup).
Since I play basketball, any answers could be extremely helpful for the tournament.

Definitely A....
Shooting a 3 would be too risky, and if you'd miss it you'd get a major tongue lashing from your coach. As would hitting it off an opposing player, if they'd catch it or at least manage to keep it inbounds you'd be screwed. And even if you're fouled on a layup, most players have a much higher chance of hitting 2 free throws, than a most likely tight covered 3 pointer.
