Please help.

Alright...I'm not used to asking for advice, but I need some help. First off, everyone involved here is 14-15, so its even more confusing.

I've been best friends with Ethan since kindergarten. We plan on always staying friends but things aren't going as planned. 2 years ago I met a girl, Chloe who I really like (I'd say I love her, but I don't want everyone debating over teenage love in this thread). I've really gotten to know her, and lately we've been kind of 'involved' with each other. It's not really an official relationship, but you get the idea. Ethan had been with the same girl for a year or two, and he just broke up with her. A few months ago, he got his ex pregnant. After that he tried hooking up with the girl my other friend is involved with, but that didn't work out. Now he's trying to get with Chloe, saying hes liked her since the day he met her, which I know isn't true. Chloe means a lot to me, and I don't want to lose my chance with her because of this. He doesn't want her to know that he got his ex pregnant because he doesnt want to lose his chance either. I think if it goes too far she has to know, but I don't know what to say. It doesn't seem fair that he can get a girl pregnant, then move on to saying how much he likes Chloe, who I really care about and would like a chance with. Me and Ethan talked about it, but all he does is sit there in self-pity and say he won't interfere with my relationships, which I know is a lie, because he's already been trying.

Bailey, you know everyone in this so please don't say anything. I can't let Chloe know or anything and let Ethan down, because as much as I hate him for this we already said we're gonna be friends no matter what.

I don't know what to do.

Looks like Ethan isnt being a very good friend.....You really like Chloe. But Ethan is your best friend. Do this. Try to tell Ethan about when you guys said you were going to be friends forever. Then tell him he is just using her if he tries to get with her. Then say...Ethan If you were my friend you'd listen to what your saying. I dont want to hurt Chloe....and seeing her hurt will make it worse. Soon everyone will hate you! So please....be the good person and take this advice. You and Chloe can be close friends. But dont hurt anyone.

that rite above is whack, no offense, but wat u need to do is sit him down and say man to man u need to leave my girl alone , say we're still friends but if u go any further its done and im tellin chloe, now if he doesnt listen then he wasnt a true friend no matter wat u think, he shuld listen to u if he cared

Well that's what I ended up doing anyway, but thanks to both of you. The whole thing kind of resolved itself but it was so much more complicated than that.
