Nicolas Cage Empty Nicolas Cage

Post by Kristi Sat Jul 26, 2008 10:02 pm

Nicolas Cage is quite the handsome ... middle aged man..

First of all, am I the only one who feels this way? I hope not.

You see, today, I watched Con Air. Such a cute movie, aside from the language and violence. I'd really like to watch it again on TV sometime. Anyway, Nicolas Cage, being the amazing actor that he is, played a gorgeous man(wait, wait, I'm seeing a pattern.. he's a gorgeous man in every movie.. how does he do it?) who wrongfully goes to prison, then gets stuck on a plane with some extremely insane criminals who take over the plane, and he makes it his goal to stop them. You know what I've noticed? In every single movie of his, at least that I've seen, his character is always sweet and intelligent and of course he's always on the good side. I really really like him.

What's your opinion of him?

Any particular thoughts on his movies? Which ones have you seen?

Let's see.. I've seen National Treasure, National Treasure 2, Next, It Could Happen to You, Con Air..that's all I remember, but I think there was a couple others. Maybe.

Now, so as not to be prejudiced, does anyone have any other middle-aged men that you'd like to talk about? However, I'm sorry, but, I must say, he is better than all of them. So try to at least give your opinions on him, even if you dislike him, which I highly doubt that you do. Then feel free to talk about your other less important middle-aged men crushes.

Nicolas Cage <33

Nicolas Cage?
Seriously?

I think he's one of the ugliest men in Hollywood..

Will Smith is cute, I don't think Tony Shaloub is...

I don't know. I've never seen the point in having a 'crush' on someone you can never have..

Nicolas Cage is a super-dee-duper talented actor. I've watched NT and NT2 (national treasure) and Guarding Tess, in which he, yet again, plays the sweet intelligent man. lol It has language but is a good movie. Anddd I think he is better looking now then he was when he was younger. lol

... That.. hurts.. me deeply... Lol it's okay, you can dislike him. Still.. I just.. don't.. understand..

OH YEAH! WILLLL SMITHHH!! Love him too. Maybe Tony Shaloub is only cute if you're a Monk fanatic, which Rachel and I are. ^.^

Now, I do agree with you to a point Daphne. I'm not the "OH MY GOSH! I'm your number 1 fan!! I'm going to somehow marry you someday!" kind of gal. I just... enjoy admiring my Nicolas from a distance. Make sense? Lol But every time I watch a Nicolas Cage movie I get really "OH MY GOODNESS I LOVE HIM!" and then I get over it.

Hmm, Guarding Tess.. I think I've heard of that.. I should watch that one. He's just so good as a sweet intelligent man. You ever wonder if actors are really nice in real life or jerks? I don't really want to know though. Lol. Now, see, is it just a little language or a lot? Because a lot of movies have a little bit of language, but it's language every other second that bothers me. Also, I don't like violence because it grosses me out; however, I do enjoy the intense movies without the violence (like, say, I Am Legend).

ummm i'll say medium because I'm not a big "language" person. I think it gets bad in certain parts but that's not throughout the movie so idk. There is no violence that I can think of.. oh well somebody gets burn with a cigarette lighter and shot in the toe, but that's it. lol And I do think that too. Personally, I think that if he only plays sweet and intelligent characters, there must be a reason why lol. I loved his performance in the National Treasure movies.. So smart and the serious eyes ooo haha

By the way, Emily, you are most certainly correct that is Nicolas is better looking now than he was in his younger years... ..Sounds kind of messed up, doesn't it? I guess, he's just more.. distinguished.

I found out he's 44 and his real name is Nicholas Kim Coppola. I actually thought he was 50 something, so that's not too bad. ^.^

Anyone else have any opinions on the matter? Even if you just like his acting.

And feel free to bring up other good actors of the middle-aged male category.. oh my.. that sounds nasty. lol?

Lol well you know, some are more attractive than others. Like, I mean, a lot of girls like Johnny Depp and he's.. what? Like 45? OH! Nicolas Cage was actually the one who got Johnny Depp into acting. So all you ladies who love him can thank Nicolas Cage. Mmmmhmmm. lol I'm googling to find a lot of these things out. I don't know things like this off the top of my head. ^.^

I googled Matthew Fox images. But, what is he from?

By the way, I just saw Guarding Tess.. I thought it was kind of wierd pointless movie, and Nicolas Cage was far too young. ^.^
