title says it all. What'd ya get for Christmas??

Katie and I got an electric guitar, I got new converse and uggs, and a whole bunch of cool clothes for once.

And my funniest gift was my beach chair. xD I broke my beach chair this past summer, so my cousin Justin got me a new one. xD he's like..9. we do polyanna between all 10 of us cousins, and he made his mom drive all the way to Ocean City in November to get me a beach chair. XD Love him!

Cloths, Cloths, Cloths, did I mention cloths? Laptop cooler (for when its too hot) um.. 200 bucks. um.. A movie and a cd, a mouse for my computer, and a ton of other stuff

Oh and soon to be a laptop once my parents finally order it. christmas deals went too quick.

Well... so far. $25 from my neighbors for helping them out with trash cans for the year. May get another $50-100 or so. No gifts, but hey. Family was around today, and that was fun. =]

I forgot I got a new digital camera. Mine was actually all crappy. I dont like the flash on this one though, it doesnt work beyond a few feet. may return it and pick one with a better flash.

Awhsome! money is always the best present. Because you can buy yourself stuff. xD

Two shirts, $5 from Grandma & Grandpa. A jar of nutella. Slippppppers. And a pair of shoes. Also like. Candy and stuf in my stocking. =]
Got to see the fam' too, so I enjoyed the holiday.

Hmm. I didn't actually think I was going to get anything this year, and the novio really surprised me. :]

I got a book, and I recieved a new purse, a ring [ Guess what kind? ;D] , two DVD's [A Nightmare Before Christmas and the Princess Bride], two CD's [Daughtry's new Leave This Town and Breaking Benjamin's Dear Agony- both VERY awesome by the way =}], German Coins, and chocolate, all from the boyfriend. I'm so spoiled.

That's what I received this year, but best of all, I got to actually feel like I was a part of something. This was the best Christmas ever.

(dont take this offencive) I never got why Athiests still celebrated christmas? I mean since we all know its because its the day Jesus was born, So why do Athiests still celebrate it? (was it just for the presents?)

I celebrate it for a couple of reasons:

1) to spend time with the family
2) not a lot of my family knows that I'm an atheist, and I'm fine with that. A lot of my family would just make a big deal out of it, and it's not.
3) I like getting gifts

And I think it should be pointed out that Christmas is actually a pagan holiday that early Christians hijacked to convince pagans to convert to Christianity. If Jesus ever even existed, it is more likely that he was born in July or September.

Also, as Christmas was adopted as a national holiday, with separation of church and state in place, Christmas can be celebrated as a secular holiday, as I (and it seems quite a lot of people, even Christians) celebrate it.
