Re: Favorite Books anyone?
Well thats a start. haha.
I like John Green right now.
I bought Looking for alaska and An Abundance of Katherines.
I haven't gotten around to buying his latest book Paper Towns, but they're all very good.
My favorite Christian fiction series is the O'Malley Series by Dee Henderson.

Haha very nice Jackie! Clifford and Arthur were definitley pretty amazing...
Haha nice books guys. I have yet to read the Left behind series. It seems kind of intimidating to me considering there is like 10 million of them haha.
My all-time favorite book whenever i was a kid was Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. I even loved it so much i made my mom buy me a copy of it for my 13th birthday haha.
At the moment i don't really have time to read much of anything other than the books for Mr. Ames class. We're reading Beowulf and then off to the Lord of the rings. Woohoo!

for the time it waswritten, it was well done. I haveto say though it was more fun writing as a warrior during Grendels assault than reading the story =P

Well, the poem you read today isn't in Old English, it's translated. The actual original Old English would be incomprehensible to us:
"Gesyhð sorhcearig on his suna bure
winsele westne, windge reste
reote berofene. Ridend swefað,
hæleð in hoðman; nis þær hearpan sweg,
gomen in geardum, swylce ðær iu wæron." (2455 - 2459)
But I agree, the reading isn't that hard if you have the attention span for it.
Favorite books of all time:
The Hobbit, the Lord of The Rings trilogy, the Silmarillion
Magic Tree House when I was younger
Fahrenheit 451 and other Bradbury
NOT Eragon
And after Mr. Ames' class I came to like 1984.
There are lots others that I can't remember.

Re: Favorite Books anyone?
Haha i definitley dont have the attention span for Beowulf or any kind of poetry like reading. I love to read but lately i've been tired so therefore everytime i go to read i fall asleep haha.
I was going to take the British literature class but i wasnt sure if i'd be too hard.
