What Guys Think About Us...

Okay, I got an e-mail from my friend. I checked this site out and I REALLY liked it. It helped me realize what a stumbling block I am to guys by the way I dress. I do dress modestly, but I found a few things that I can change. Here's the site

However it isn't really a wide range survey so I'm not quite sure how much factual information it has.

That was interesting and I'm glad they got the guys to speak up. It seems like the girls are always in the crosshairs when it comes to modesty, when there's actually 2 sides to this issue.

Another thing about modesty: It's not just how you dress, it's your attitude, too. I see a lot of girls who dress modestly, but act and talk very, well, sinfully. I'm not saying that you have to be a doormat. But so many girls these days claim to be good Christian girls, and yet they never act like it. That's one of the reasons why I've almost quit church.

no problem...u just need 2 like...not let it get 2 u...ppl say things about me all the time...[like my bro calls me a loser] but i just say, yea o know i am...but i just go along w/ it cuz i want him 2 get off my back & leave...lol...but others do say things as well

I went to the site and I found it to be very dumb. Personally, I don't want to hear a bunch of facts about what is or what isn't appropriate. I have a brain and I know how to dress modestly without reading what a bunch of guys think about every single item of clothing. It's kind of ridiculous. I just think they took it too far. And, reading some of the things these guys think are immodest, they might as well just go lock themselves in a closest where they won't be tempted.

I agree with Kristi. It was really stupid. If the so called 'christian voters' had their way, we'd all be draped from head to toe, not able to tell whether we were actually girls or not lol...just black blobs with no sense of fashion or pride. lol, I mean...it's just my opinion, but I also don't need some guys telling me what I can and can't wear. And not all guys feel that way. Maybe they went to like, one church and interviewed them all, but I doubt they all think like that.

oh wait......guys I just noticed...if you look at the site carefully.......the survey with all the statements...is not the guy's opinions.........it the questions they asked the guys.......the site also has the statistics for what the guys opinion on the survey was......just so you know.....

I kind of agree with Rhea and Kristi. Also, just because a guy is looking at a girl doesn't meant that he's thinking about you-know-what. He could be thinking about something else entirely.

I also don't know why people are still so crazy about modesty. The clothes are not as bad as they were only a few years ago. We all know that belly shirts aren't that trendy anymore. And if something's low-cut, that's what layering is for. The only thing I really gag about when I go to the store is the prom dresses. X( They still need improvement.
