Post by Dr. Bri Sat Sep 20, 2008 6:45 pm

So I was thinking the other day, and I was wondering: Physically, what kind of guys do you girls look for? I mean, come on, looks aren't the most important thing, but every girl thinks about looks, so what are you guys into? I personally like teddy bear types with long hair, or else tall guys. x]] It kind of depends actually. I like guys who look different. :D

So what about you?

^_^ FINALLY :) another : ] topic =) in : D the =D girl's =]
chat ^-^

Yeah, the teddy bear types are cute. Or there's guys with big muscular arms. Not huge pro-wrestler or anything, just, muscularish arms are kind of good looking(with the rest of a body attactched of course ;] ). Or .. sometimes guys with like, you know, the hardcore long hair and tattoo and nose ring who unfortunately are like 25. Actually, a lot of good looking guys I know are in the 21-26 range or something like that. Eh, but not ALL of them.. Umm, yeahh.

But of course, of course, sometimes you'll run across a guy that you wouldn't usually think of as cute but for some reason you totally do, you know?

Sexy guys with British accents anyone? Guys from foreign countries in general?

(Plus also Nicolas Cage.. had to add him in somewhere.. :] )

Like the topic idea, Bri. ^-^

I'm going to try to keep this topic alive because it's interesting.

The Great Escape wrote:i also LOVE emo looking guys that wear black with awesomeness hair. and skinnie jeans.

I'm not really feelin the skinny jeans -they're often awkwardly tight.

Dress doesn't matter too much. Gosh, I've seen guys that wear geeky sweaters and still look hot (Well, in my opinion). You've got your normal, casual t-shirt and jeans look; your preppy collared shirt and expensive jeans look; your band t-shirt and jeans rocker-wanna-be look; your fancy dressed up in a suit look; your skater shoes and skater hat look, and your geeky sweater but somehow still adorable look. All of these can work. There's only two specific styles that bother me: the stereotypical 'emo' and 'gothic' looks. I don't have a problem with eyeliner, tattoos, piercings, or converse shoes, but it has to be done with tact. I don't think the emo style cuts it. It's over-dramatized. And gothic is over-over-dramatized. The chains and the death makeup and the .. everything else.. not feelin it. Ear gauges and several types or overuse of piercing, also, I find unnatractive. That was my little rant. Um, how do you guys feel about the way guys dress and does it affect you being attracted to them?

Does anyone feel mostly attracted to guys with a certain hair color or eye color?

Ahaha to answer all of the questions....: I like the longer sideswept hair, like Irish. Annd, I like the skinny jeansss and skaterss. But I don't like them to be like, scrawny and stuff. I like them, like, more muscular, but over-muscular just looks awful, lol. Yeahhh. Annnddd, uhh.. I like darker hair on guys and blue eyesssss. =] This is an awkward topic for me, lol.

I'm...sorry but sideswept hair and skinny jeans is not 'punk', it's emo. haha. big, big difference, I'm afraid.

Also, I like big, tall guys who make me feel protected =] kinda like the one i'm dating...[ahem] and also, real punk.

Same here. It's so tempting to pet their hair.
My friend told me yesterday, "Admit it: you have a fetish for guys with curly hair." Sadly, she's right. :D

Another weird thing I'm attracted to is...mustaches. Not the big bushy old man kind, but the nice subtle kind which only certain guys can pull off well. Once again, it's because they look fun to play with.

Clumsiness is also cute. It shows their human side. I hate stereotypical swaggering guys who try to impress girls into liking them.

The above things are not requirements, though. Any cute-looking, decent-acting male can become the victim of my affection, muhaha.

I think my friend was also right about this: "Alanna, you have some weird tastes in men."

Hm, referring to what Pandagurl said. I don't recall your name. There are so many guys in my youth group who have the same look as the one I described. I wear skinny jeans (I live in skinny jeans?) and I have punk hair, but that doesn't make me "emo." I think emo is more of a feeling, not a way of dress. You can be emo and people can tell by the way you dress. I'm more punk goth than anything, but I'm not EMO. =] I think it's just a matter of what you think.

I was referring to punk as a fashion statement. Real Punk has nothing to do with skinny jeans and 'sideswept' hair. Real Punk, has not existed in a long time...
tres triste. (very sad.)

Photobucket < fake punk

Photobucket < real punk.

see the difference?

I love curly hair too. Mainly probably because my boyfriend has curly hair =] and cuddly-ness.

My name is Rhea, by the way.

I really really am not into muscular guys at all. I'm cool with - well, not really scrawny but what you could call un-athletic. Every guy I've liked is more into reading than weightlifting and more into watching sports than playing them - not that they don't play at all, just that it's not a big part of them and doesn't effect their appearance.
Long hair is a big thing. If it at least comes to below their ears it's good.
I'm gonna say it - whether you agree or disagree, glasses are cute.
So, girls. Mattbwfc1.thSo, girls. Dustin2di7.thSo, girls. Mattlimboyu0.th
friends Matt - Dustin - Matt w/glasses, they kinda capture what I mean.

I don't pay extreme attention to that physical stuff. What girl would admit to it if they did? I fall for a guy after knowing him well enough for long enough to have seen his ups and down and his most adorable feature; his humanity:
Clumsiness; his tendency to misspell and mispronounce; his lack of deductive reasoning skills; how he always says something stupid then spends anywhere from 5 minutes to 48 to a whole day bumbling and searching for anything to say to make up for it when he just keeps saying stupider things while I sit there or walk with him and laugh the whole time until he gives me that adorable look, I say it's all good, and we hug. Obviously talking about features of a specific guy there. ^_^; But, ya get what I mean.
