Question Friend Problems..

Post by -RiseToFall- Fri May 11, 2007 9:56 am

ok, so if u guys could help me out that would be good- so here's my story-

I have this best friend, her name is becca
we go to the same church.
becca met these 2 girls in school and they became close so she brought them to church,
then when i met them i became REALLY tight with them and now those to girls are also my bestfriends
Now for some reason, my friend ( becca) doesn't even talk to them anymore when we are together ( NO JOKE, she won't say a word to them)
and so they were all confused cuz they don't know what they did for her to treat them like that. They asked me to ask becca what was going on
and she said that she hates them and she always talks about how much she hates them..So now she rrefuses to hang out with them but they are still 2 of my bestfriends, so i can't hang out with all of them at one time and now it's jusy getting stupid so what do u think i should do? drop some1 or somthing or just keep living in the middle?

Living in the middle I think would just bring you stress.
But did your friend say why she doesn't like them anymore?
If it's for a foolish reason or no reason at all I would say just to still be friends but Don't try to be like best friends with her nemore.

Question Re: Friend Problems..

Post by The Unnamed Fri May 11, 2007 11:00 am

I'm pretty sure I know what's wrong and why she hates them. I've been in the same situation before, especially when I was a little kid that lived in Oakmont... I'll tell you about it, and maybe you'll understand more.

See, there were two other kids in that funny lil' neighborhood--a lil' boy, and a lil' girl. And at the time I was just a wee lil' kid, sort of like I am now. Anytime one was outside, that one and I would play something like soldiers, or house, or whatever--we had lots of fun. But if all three of us were outside at the same time, the atmosphere was a lot different. Those two were closer friends when together, and I was the little one who tagged along, trying to join in on the fun, but I was only made fun of and laughed at.

Then, this kid called Homer from Praugue moved in the neighborhood. Whenever he was around, I was counted as one of the awesomer kids like the first two I was talking about, while Homer was ridiculed and basically was stepped on all the time.

Now, I should just stop giving you a history of my life and say something more useful, so: Two friends together are good. But usually when there's three or more, one of them is going to be left out and jealous of the rest of them.

So... I don't know how to fix your problem, but I'm really sure about what the problem is and why she hates them.

You could try giving your friend more attention, and treat her well enough to show that she's not left out.

It's probably hard for her to realize that she is being included in all the fun, and not left out, then.

Question Re: Friend Problems..

Post by The Unnamed Fri May 11, 2007 5:49 pm

Lol, that was some years ago, though. Like when I was three to seven. When I was eight I saw them again, and we were a lot more mature by that time, especially since they were older--10 and 12. But then when I came out, the 12 year old boy was nice, which made the girl run inside all frustrated-ish...XD Those were the good ol' days...

Question Re: Friend Problems..

Post by xoxCookieMonsterxox Tue May 15, 2007 6:29 pm

The same thing happened to me but I was the Becca in my story. When my cousin fist moved her 7 years ago she stole ALL of my friends, not one of them wanted to talk to me(or so I thought) anymore. I confronted one of them and like we had like a 2 hour disscussion about it. It turned out that they were jealous of me to have my cousin. And after that we were all friends. So Anna, just talk to her. Invite Becca over for a sleepover or something, just her, and talk to her.

I hope that I helped!
