ok...i agree w/...the 1 who said just jeans & a shirt...is this the 1st skool dance u've been 2?? cuz i know @ my skool they hav the formals (wear dresses) & then they hav casual where u just wear jeans & a tee. but if u want u could wear sumthin a little extra nice just in case...but thats just how my skool is...

i'd go with nice fitted jeans, a nice top, and a nice pair of shoes or heels.
if not jeans, casuel dress pants. and if that's your friends who are telling you not to wear a dress-i HIGHLY doubt any guys would even do that, lol
and also, if you wear a dress or skirt, just wear a pair of shorts or something underneath
